Lora D. King – Stolen

Lora D. King asks the question, “What would you say if I told you that an insidious thief may be lurking in your mind?” That ‘insidious thief’? Alzheimer’s. In her debut book, Ms. King defines the crime the disease commits across racial, class and ethnic lines including on the group affected the most; the families. Discover what Ms. King has to say about the challenges loved ones faced when they discovered their lives were ‘stolen’.

Filmed near the Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival (this is the reason for the cars passing by, to avoid the noise).
